Over three months have passed since Joe Biden was elected, and three weeks since he entered the White House, but the U.S. president isn’t phoning. It’s hard to overlook his ignoring of Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel.

During this period the prime minister has spoken by phone at least three times with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Israeli and U.S. officials who have been in contact are Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
