Two Dead and 14 Injured After Palestinian Vehicle Overturns in West Bank

According to Magen David Adom, the wounded were evacuated to local hospitals

Two were killed and 14 others injured Thursday morning when a Palestinian vehicle overturned near Ma'aleh Adumim in the West Bank. The accident took place on Route 417.

According to Magen David Adom, the wounded were evacuated by MDA teams to Shaare Zedek and Mount Scopus hospitals.

MDA Paramedic Yanai Levy said: "When we got to the place we saw a minibus full of passengers upside down on the roof... some of the wounded laid on the road and some were still in the minibus."

One of the killed, a 50-year-old man, was reportedly found unconscious on the road with a multiple injuries. Levy added, "We performed medical examinations, he was without signs of life, and we determined his death on the ground." 

The rest of the wounded were conscious and suffered mostly from abdominal and chest injuries.
