A short time earlier, 23-year-old Adham Natour, was shot to death for unknown reasons in Kafr Yasif, a northern Arab community east of Acre. Natour, a Kafr Yasif resident, was pronounced dead at the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya.
The two homicides follow the drive-by shooting death of a 20-year-old Arab man in Jaffa on Tuesday morning, an incident in which a 12-year-old boy was also critically wounded.
Farid Khalaf was shot to death by a man on a motorcycle who fled the scene. Relatives of the boy who was critically wounded in the shooting said he was selling fruit at the site near the Daka Orchards residential complex. Police suspect that he may not have been a target of the shooting. It is thought that security cameras in the vicinity will have footage of the incident.
The housing complex is home to the Abu Seif family, some of whose members have been involved in drug and weapons trafficking. In the same vicinity somewhat over a year ago, a 5-year-old boy was wounded in the head by a stray bullet.
