Over 1,000 Palestinians Protest Across West Bank, Gaza Border; 20 Reported Wounded

Palestine Red Crescent says 18 wounded in clashes with Israeli forces in West Bank, two wounded on Gaza border

Thousands of Palestinians protested Friday afternoon in 14 different locations across the West Bank. Hundreds also demonstrated in five different locations near Israel's border with the Gaza Strip. 

The Palestine Red Crescent reported that 18 protesters were wounded in clashes with military forces in the West Bank, including one protester who was hit by gunfire, seven who were shot by rubber bullets, and ten who were wounded by inhaling teargas.

Two Palestinians who were moderately wounded by gunfire in the Huwara region were evacuated to a hospital in Nablus. One of the demonstrators wounded by gunfire at the entrance to Ramallah was taken to a nearby hospital, the Palestinian Healthy Ministry reported. Clashes in the West Bank broke out in Hebron, Nablus, near Kafr Qaddum and Beit El area.
