Israeli Arab Shot Dead in Mixed Arab-Jewish City
This is the 27th murder in the Israeli Arab community since the beginning of the year

A 20-year-old man was shot to death Friday in the mixed Arab-Jewish city of Acre in an incident police are treating as a criminal case.
Medical sources reported that the Israeli Arab man, Mazen Zakhur, was found shot and in critical condition next to his car.
This is the second murder case within Israel's Arab community in less than a week.
On Sunday, a 29-year-old man was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a car in the northern town of Arabeh. The police said the case is still being investigated.

Twenty-seven Israeli Arabs have been murdered in 2022. In 2021, 126 Israeli Arabs were murdered. Police managed to solve only 23 percent of these murders, compared with 71 percent for the murders in the Jewish community in 2021.
