Israel arrested 12 wanted individuals in the West Bank on Wednesday night including a member of parliament from Hamas, according to Palestinian reports.

Mohammed Ismayil Atel, the reportedly arrested lawmaker, is from the town of Dahriya, near Hebron.

Also among those arrested was a 20-year-old Palestinian from Jenin who was suspected of throwing an explosive device at the Jalamah checkpoint in the north of the West Bank.

The Shin Bet said that weapons were confiscated in the town of Taysir, including a Negev light machine gun, a rocket-propelled grenade and smoke grenades after arms dealers were arrested in the town a few weeks ago.
