According to Health Ministry data, schools, events and places of worship were the three top places where COVID-19 patients contracted the virus in the past week.
According to a breakdown of 727 people who know where they were infected between July 10 and July 16, around a third, or 210, contracted the virus in educational institutions, 123 were infected at events, and 106 in religious institutions.
Another 89 were infected in entertainment venues - out of those, only 11 were infected at bars, with the rest at restaurants and coffee shops.
Only four were found to have contracted the virus at pools or the beach, which are to be closed permanently and on weekends, respectively.
The data does not include those that were infected by a member of their household.

According to the data, which was provided to a Knesset committee responsible for the coronavirus response on Sunday, a total of 7,998 people tested positive for coronavirus, and contact tracing was able to identify the place of infection for just over a quarter of them, 2,227 in total.
Detractors of the newly announced government measures restricting Israelis' movements in an attempt to curb a renewed coronavirus outbreak have contended that some measures, like the closure of beaches and pools, are not based in epidemiological data analysis.
