The assailant stabbed a soldier with a screwdriver, lightly wounding her, and fled eastward, stabbing three other people. An Israel Defense Forces soldier chased after him and shot him. Magen David Adom medics at the scene pronounced him dead. MDA evacuated the four victims, all lightly wounded, to Ichilov Hospital. The four include a 60-year-old woman, a man and a woman in their 40s and a 20-year-old woman. All suffered from upper chest wounds. Another victim was admitted to Ichilov independently.

"When I reached the scene, I encountered two women who suffered from chest wounds and were fully conscious," said Nissim Hest, a voluntary EMT. "Together with other rescue volunteers, we provided them with first aid. We were informed that before the medics arrived the young woman was evacuated to Ichilov. Passersby said the terrorist fled and was shot by security forces on Moses Street. Some shock victims were also treated."

Shortly after the Tel Aviv attack, which occurred at about 3 PM, a Jewish man was stabbed Thursday afternoon in the West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba. This marked the sixth stabbing since Wednesday morning.

At about 3:50 PM, a Palestinian stabbed an Israeli in the settlement, located near the Hebron Hills, according to Channel 2 News. Magen David Adom first responders arrived at the site and treated the victim, said to be a man aged about 25, who was seriously wounded. MDA planned on evacuating the victim to hospital shortly thereafter.

An earlier attack on Thursday was perpetrated in Jerusalem, when a 25-year-old was badly wounded after being stabbed in Jerusalem. The attack took place by a light rail stop on Bar Lev Boulevard, next to Police national headquarters. Special police forces in the vicinity quickly overpowered the assailant, during which another person was lightly wounded.

He was identified as Subhi Ibrahim Mohammed Abu Khalifa, 19, a resident of the Shoafat refugee camp nearby Jerusalem. The security services said he had no prior arrests. He was handed over to the Shin Bet security service for interrogation.

The attacked disrupted light rail service, which was renewed after an hour.

This is a developing story.
