An Air Sinai passenger plane was damaged on March 20 when it hit a jetway after landing at Ben-Gurion International Airport, according to a report of the incident obtained by Haaretz.
No injuries were reported in the accident, which follows a similar incident, also involving an Embraer aircraft from the Egyptian carrier.
The accident was investigated by the Transportation Ministry’s chief investigator, attorney Itzhak Raz. He determined that it was caused by a problem with the design and the operation of the jetway, and noted that corrective measures have been taken.
