"When we arrived at the scene, we saw a woman around 19-years-old lying unconscious on the side of the road with multiple injuries," said an MDA paramedic, Khaled Murai, and an MDA emergency medical technician, Yehuda Haim, who were on the scene and treated the victims. "We treated herand quickly transported her to the hospital."

A 45-year-old man also received on site treatment and was then transported to the hospital, they added. The other victims went to the hospital on their own.

This was the second attack against Israelis Sunday. In the first attack, a woman tried to carry out a suicide bombing at the A-Zaim checkpoint near Ma’aleh Adumim, just outside of Jerusalem. A 45-year-old male police officer was lightly wounded as a result of the explosion.
