Hundreds of demonstrations are currently taking place Thursday night around the country for the 20th week in a row since the anti-Netanyahu protests began in July.
Some 300 protesters are currently participating in a march from Ramat Gan to Tel Aviv, which commenced at an intersection where several protesters were recently assaulted.
Last Saturday, unknown assailants sprayed tear gas at a young couple and two weeks ago there was a similar incident. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with any of these incidents.
Youth-led organizations, mobile submarine models and the King Balfour band also took part in the march.
In Tel Aviv, demonstrators marched toward the residence of Public Security Minister Amir Ohana. Police tried to prevent the demonstrators from getting near the minister’s house and clashes ensued. When protesters tried to break through a police blockade while holding one of the submarine models, police viewed it as an attack and tossed the submarine over a fence into an open area on a main Tel Aviv throughway — out of the protesters’ reach.

The Black Flags movement stated that "the Netanyahu Police Tel Aviv branch is — for no reason and without permission — defacing protest installations. The Israeli police should investigate the corruption cases of the crime family at Netanyahu's house, not harm citizens who are protesting against government corruption."
The weekly Thursday night protests by the Black Flags group and other protest organizations are also underway at many sites around the country, such as intersections, overpasses and plazas.
Earlier on Thursay the Black Flags issued the following statement: “This week we saw what really concerns Netanyahu – tax breaks and raises for his lawmakers. Netanyahu doesn’t care about the people in the country, he only cares about money, respect, and power. If he cared about the country, we wouldn’t be headed for a third lockdown, tens of thousands of businesses wouldn’t be shut, families wouldn’t be collapsing financially. But Bibi doesn’t care about the citizens, only his own personal benefit.”
