Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is likely running for president. He is also visiting Israel as a traditional primary stop. But if you want to know what he’s up to in Israel, you would have to follow the Republican Jewish Coalition’s executive director on Twitter.

Governor Walker has been very reserved about commenting on his coming trip to Israel, calling it a “listening tour.”

The visit is being funded by Our American Revival and the Republican Jewish Coalition.

On Sunday morning RJC’s Matt Brooks tweeted a picture of Walker wearing a blue polo shirt at the holiest site in Judaism – the Western Wall. “Hitting the day running on first day in #Israel w/ @ScottWalker -visited the Kotel, Christian holy sites and Old City,” tweeted Brooks.

According to the schedule made public, the Republican governor will also visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust History, U.S ambassador Dan Shapiro, as well as members of the Knesset and Israeli Defense Forces. Walker has acknowledged he plans to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Walker will also take a helicopter tour of “various historical and strategically significant sites,” the Associated Press reported Friday.

Before departing, Walker addressed his upcoming visit during a speech at the Citizens United Freedom Summit in South Carolina.

“We need a commander in chief who will once and for all call it what it is, and that is that radical Islamic terrorism is a threat to us all,” Walker said. “We need a president who will affirm that Israel is our ally, and start acting like it.”
