One of the four victims of the terror attack at a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday morning was identified as Moshe Twersky, the head of the Yeshiva Toras Moshe in Jerusalem.

Twersky, aged 59, was a resident of the Har Nof neighborhood where the attack took place.

The U.S.-born Twersky was a well-known rabbi among the Haredi Anglo-Saxon community in Jerusalem, and his lessons were attended by many.

The English-language Yeshiva Toras Moshe, called "ToMo" by its graduates and students, was of founded in 1982. Twersky was the son-in-law of the yeshiva's founder, Abba Berman, and grandson of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik.

Twersky left behind a wife, Miriam, and five children.

His funeral began at 2:00 P.M. at Beit HaTalmud yeshiva in Sanhedria neighborhood and will end at the Givat Shaul Cemetery.

Another victim was identified Tuesday as U.S.-born Aryeh Kupinsky, 43, a resident of Har Nof.

Kupinsky was born in Rhode Island and moved to Kiryat Arba, Israel with his family in 1982 when he was 11 years old.

He was well-known throughout the community, particularly for his volunteer work. Kupinsky lost his daughter two years ago when she died in her sleep, aged 9, and is survived by five other children.

A third victim was identified as Avraham Shmuel Goldberg, 68, who emigrated from Britain in 1993. He left behind a wife and six children. According to the JewishNews website, Goldberg worked in publishing and lived in London's Golders Green before making aliyah in 1993. "We are aware of the death of a dual British-Israeli national in Israel on 18 November 2014," Britain's Foreign Office said in a statement.

David Osborne, Goldberg's friend, told the website: "He was the most wonderful person you could meet, a pillar of the community." Osborne, who said he was on his way to the syngagoge, said that "Avraham prayed there most days for the last ten years or so, he was a devout Jew with no political agenda. All he wanted was to live a peaceful life."

"The Goldberg family accepts the divine decree with love," the family stated, saying they will not be giving interview to the press.

A fourth victim was identified as Kalman Zeev Levine, 55. The American-born resident of Har Nof regularly prayed at the Kehilat Bnei Torah synagogue, which was near his home.

A funeral for the three other victims was scheduled to set off from Kehilat Bnei Torah synagogue, where the attack took place that afternoon.
