Sheikh Raed Salah, the head of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, attacked the ten Arab countries that expressed support for the operation the United States is planning against the Islamic State. According to Salah, "It is a coalition of evil aimed at destroying what's left of Syria and Iraq, and further partition the Arab and Islamic world."

Salah stressed in his speech at the Islamic Movement's 19th annual summit, which took place in Umm al-Fahm, that the organization sides with the position of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, which condemned the actions of the Islamic State, but added that "this does not warrant aggression on the part of the United States and the coalition that is forming, which will harm the whole Arab and Muslim world."

In his speech Salah asked why "no similar coalition was organized against China, Sri Lanka, and India, when Muslims were attacked there," adding "where was the coalition against the European terrorism in central Africa or against the Israeli terrorism against the Palestinians?"

Salah also mentioned Mohammed Abu Khdeir, the Palestinian teenager who was murdered by Israeli Jews last July, Mohammed Sunuqrut, who this week died in the hospital after being shot in a demonstration by Israeli forces and Raed Al-Jabari who was found hung in his cell in an Israeli prison this week. According to Salah the death of the three symbolizes the bankruptcy of Israeli morality, and the failure of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He called on Palestinian factions to unite and not "fall for Israel's trap."
