The three Israeli right-wing extremists who have been charged with kidnapping East Jerusalem teen Mohammed Abu Khdeir early last month and burning him to death should be burned to death themselves, Abu Khdeir's father, Hussein Abu Khdeir, said at a remand hearing at the Jerusalem District Court on Wednesday.

"I would have liked that just as they burned my son, they should also be allowed to burn," he said. "That is what is right and just. They poured gasoline on my son while he was still alive."
Hussein Abu Khdeir also said the homes of his 16-year-old son's suspected killers should be demolished, just as Israel regularly razes the homes of Palestinian terrorists.
East Jerusalem residents held a protest outside the court Wednesday, calling for the homes of the three suspects to be destroyed.
"A month has passed since the murder, and the murderers' homes have still not been destroyed," said Hussein Abu Khdeir. "[They] must be destroyed."
At the hearing, the court agreed to the prosecution's request to keep the only adult suspect, Yosef Chaim Ben David from the West Bank settlement Geva Binyamin, in custody until the end of proceedings.
The court also extended the remand of the other two suspects, both minors whose identity has not been released to the public, for an additional week.
The suspects are charged with murder, belonging to a terror organization, kidnapping, weapon acquisition, conspiracy to commit a crime and hate crimes.
The murder took place days after the bodies of kidnapped Israeli teens Gilad Shaar, Eyal Yifrah and Naftali Fraenkel were found June 30, and has widely been depicted as a revenge attack.
Ben David is accused of driving his vehicle to the scene of the kidnapping in Shoafat and then to a forest outside of Jerusalem early on July 2, where he proceeded to hit Abu Khdeir on the head with a wrench, while his accomplices kicked him before dousing him in gasoline and setting him on fire.
The indictment states that after the bodies of the three Israeli teens were discovered, a cousin of one of the minors said Israeli Jews should carry out a revenge attack.
