Diplomats from the U.S. and Turkey will meet in Washington on Monday and Tuesday, according to a Hurriyet Daily News report.

Turkish undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioğlu will reportedly meet officials from the U.S. State Department and the National Security Council.

Potential issues that may be discussed include the respective crises in Syria and Ukraine, disputed crude oil originating from Iraqi Kurdistan and Iran's nuclear program.

The U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, Francis Ricciardone, reportedly claimed that in addition to bilateral cooperation on Ukraine, Syria, Iraq and Iran, the two states will discuss the ongoing normalization of Turkish-Israeli relations.

Next week, Iranian president Hassan Rohani will travel to Ankara, while U.S. diplomats hold bilateral talks with Iranian representatives in Geneva prior to the fifth round of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.
