The military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees in Gaza, the Salah a-Din Brigades, released a video on Monday purporting to show Saturday's attack on an IDF jeep near the Israel-Gaza border.

Four IDF soldiers were wounded when the jeep was struck by an anti-tank missile fired from the Gaza Strip. Six Palestinians were killed in ensuing IDF strikes and shelling of the Gaza Strip in response, and rocket fire on southern Israel has been ongoing since Saturday's incident. Since a statement by Gaza militant groups on Monday that they would enter a truce if Israel ended all military operations in the Strip, however, there has been relative quiet.

The video, broadcast on Palestinian satellite channels in the Gaza Strip and via the Internet, opens with a verse from the Koran about the victory of the Muslims over the infidels, and is followed by an announcement on the jeep attack.

According to the video, which appears to have been professionally edited and produced, the hit on the vehicle was accurate and led to the death of an IDF soldier, and seriously wounded three others.

The video uses images taken from two different angles to show a direct hit on the jeep, and also shows soldiers running from the site of the incident. In the background one of the members of the squad that fired the missile can be heard saying "Allah u Akbar" - "God is greatest" in Arabic.

Producing and distributing videos documenting actions against Israeli soldiers and military positions is an act that Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip have copied from Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
