Men's fashion brand Maison Rouge closes
The Israeli men's fashion brand Maison Rouge has announced that it is closing, after six years in operation. Maison Rouge was founded in 2006 in Tel Aviv by Shenkar textile college graduate Alla Eizenberg, after an internship in Milan, Italy. The brand, which was considered a pioneer in men's fashion in Israel, was sold in shops in Antwerp and Milan. In her announcement, Eizenberg cited the global economic crisis and the expansion of cheap fashion chains as the reasons for her decision. (Sahar Shalev )
