Burst Pipe Paralyzes Traffic on North Tel Aviv Drag
Police report heavy congestion on north Tel Aviv roads, Ayalon highway.
Traffic on a major Tel Aviv highway came to standstill Thursday morning, due to a burst water pipe.

An officer from Tel Aviv Police traffic department told Army Radio that a water pipe burst at the intersection of Namir Road and Rokach Boulevard, leading to heavy traffic jams in the entire area, including HaYarkon street, Nordau Boulevard and the northern city exits.
The water pipe is expected to be fixed Friday morning.
The officer added that further congestion will be felt on Ayalon highway, used as an alternate route by drivers.
Police have requested drivers to avoid driving to the area, if possible.
