3 Yitzhar Settlers Arrested for Setting Fire to Palestinian Cars
Settlers allegedly set fire to 3 cars, tractor; police find car that matches desciption of complainant.
Police arrested on Friday three settlers from Yitzhar on suspicion of setting fire to three cars belonging to Palestinians from the village of Inabus, near the West Bank city of Nablus.
Flammable materials were found in the suspects' possession.
A Palestinian resident of the village reported the incidents to police on Friday morning, and said he had evidence implicating residents of the nearby settlement.
The complainant told police that the suspects set fire to three cars and a tractor, and then drove off in the direction of the settlement. He said he chased the suspects to the entrance of Yitzhar, and from there they managed to evade him.
Police sources said that after they conducted a search at the settlement, they found a car that matches the complainant's description.
