In reference to Israel, Davutoglu said that it "is unacceptable that countries suspected of having nuclear weapons cause new tensions in our region.

Davutoglu called for nuclear weapons to be eliminated in all countries of the Middle East.

The U.S. and Israel have not ruled out conducting military action against Iran's nuclear facilities.

Tensions over Iran's nuclear program increased this week following the release of an IAEA report which found that Iran has been working to build a nuclear weapon since 2003.
