Haaretz Correspondent Anshel Pfeffer Wins Journalism Award

Writer receives B'nai B'rith prize for weekly 'Jerusalem & Babylon' column on Israel and the Diaspora.

Haaretz military correspondent Anshel Pfeffer is this year's recipient of the B'nai B'rith Award for Journalism Recognizing Excellence in Diaspora Reportage.

He received the award for his weekly column, "Jerusalem & Babylon", which appears in Haaretz English Edition on Fridays and deals with hot topics related to Israel and the Diaspora.

B'nai B'rith has been giving out journalism awards since 1992. This year's other winners include veteran journalist Abraham Tirosh, who received a lifetime achievement award, and a special citation for Channel 10 television's European correspondent, Ilan Goren, for his documentary film "Lost in India".
