The Israelis' spots in the overall rankings did not change on the second day of qualification races at the 2008 RS:X (also known as Neil Pryde) World Championships in New Zealand. Gal Fridman was disqualified for an early start in the first of yesterday's two races, and came in fourth in the second. He is currently 33rd overall, but when he is able to drop his worst race he will move up in the standings. Fridman trails Shahar Zubari, who finished sixth and 17th yesterday and is sixth in the overall standings, and Nimrod Mashiah, who finished 10th and 11th yesterday and is eighth. Maayan Davidovich and Lee Korzits are still far from meeting the Israeli criteria for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Davidovich (14th and 10th yesterday) is 19th overall, while Korzits (second and 16th) is 26th.
