Musician Riff Cohen signs French deal

Israeli singer Riff Cohen has signed with the French record label AZ Records, an affiliate of Universal. AZ will put out Cohen's first album, "A Paris," also the name of her mostly French pop song, which came out about a year ago. The album is scheduled for release in March, first in France and then elsewhere in Europe. The music video for the single "A Paris" was filmed in an immigrant neighborhood in Paris and was directed by Cohen. (Uri Zer Aviv )

Dutch TV company buys rights to Israeli matchmaking show

An international television production and distribution company based in the Netherlands has acquired the rights to an Israeli matchmaking reality show. The show, called "Bat Hashakhen" (literally "The Neighbor's Daughter" ), which is produced by Channel 2 franchisee Keshet and features parents searching for a partner for their single daughter, was bought by Endemol. This is the third Israeli matchmaking show Endemol has acquired. (Ruta Kupfer )
