The Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday remanded former Judge Dan Cohen for four days. On Monday the court will rule on the prosecution’s request to keep Cohen behind bars until the end of proceedings. Cohen, who stands accused of taking millions of shekels in bribes from the German corporation Siemens and from a now-deceased businessman, Ezra Harel, left Israel for Peru in 2005 after the police began to question him.
