Father of Israeli Singer Eyal Golan Released to House Arrest
Danny Biton is suspected of exploiting the vocalist’s celebrity to have sex with underage girls, and is facing allegations of statutory rape, inducing a minor to use drugs and procuring minors.
Danny Biton, father of singer Eyal Golan, was released Wednesday to house arrest for 12 days and forbidden to leave the country, as was Tsahi Asulin, who worked for Golan’s production company.

Both Biton and Asulin are suspected of exploiting the vocalist’s celebrity to have sex with underage girls, and are facing allegations of statutory rape, inducing a minor to use drugs and procuring minors.
Tel Aviv police believe that based on the evidence, the two can and should be indicted.
Golan himself was questioned by extensively by police, but the extent of his involvement in the alleged crimes is not clear and he will probably not be charged.
