The Gaash Golf Club continued its endeavors to support the community by holding a tournament where all proceeds were donated to the eye department at Haemek Hospital in Afula.

The idea to hold the tournament was that of eye department head Dr. Daniel Brisco. Rachel Weitzman and Gaash Golf Club CEO Gili Peleg organized the day, along with friends of the Haemek hospital committee.

The duo of Meir Dor and Natan Pulwer won the morning tournament, which was an 18-hole better ball stableford 75% handicap with 36 players. Their total of 41 stableford points beat out Ron Solomon and Noam Shultz by three points.

The afternoon session with 52 players was an individual stableford tournament with two divisions. Club captain Alon Granot placed first in the A division with 21 stableford points, followed by Shmulik Almagor on 19 points. The B division ended with 3 players on 19 points: Pesach Borovietzky, Amos Burstein and Joe Klein. After the count back, Pesach took first place with Amos in second place.

The day featured a performance by the Gevatron choir, attended by over 300 people on the golf club lawn.
