Dozens of leaflets were scattered last week in the school where the daughter of Bank Leumi president and CEO Rakefet Russak-Aminoach is a student, addressing the girl by name saying, “It’s not your fault your mother is a criminal.”

Students at the Ramat Hasharon school found the announcements scattered around the schoolyard when they arrived one morning.,

A complaint was filed with the Glilot police, and officers were dispatched to the school to investigate. The commander of the Yarkon District, Brig. Gen. Yehuda Dagan, decided that a team from the district would take charge of the investigation.

The police said they have no leads but they believe the perpetrators were anti-bank activists who were taking their campaign from the Internet into real life.

This was not the first time that Russak-Aminoach has been the target of protesters who are dissatisfied with the conduct of Bank Leumi, but police said it was the first time that members of her family were targeted.
