Shortly after U.S. President Barack Obama's re-election victory was declared, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas hastened to send a cable of "warm congratulations" to the victor on behalf of both himself and the Palestinian people. Abbas promised he would act with all his might to bring about a permanent status solution in the Middle East and a just peace for both peoples - of Palestine and...

- By Smadar
- 10 Nov 2012
- 06:13AM
despite the continuation of settlements plans and construction in the West Bank? But how serious is PM Netanyahu in resolving the conflict with the Palestinians and willing to speak about the core issues? The responsibility is now on PM Netanyahu to prove it, and preferably before November 29th, the date of the U.N. submission by PLO for the nonmember status of state of Palestine. The U.S. elections are over, President Obama is ready for round two and a Middle East envoy could be selected in a zippy.

4 years from now, who knows who will be elected. But, given that the US presidency tends to swing back and forth between Democrats and Republicans, chances are that it will be someone less sympathetic to the Palestinian cause than Obama. The Palestinian leaders wasted their chance during Obama's first term by dithering for 9 months after Obama got Netanyahu to agree to a settlement construction freeze. I think this cooled Obama's enthusiasm for their side quite a bit. Hopefully they don't waste their second chance too.

01 0 0THE PLAN!
- By John Prophet
- 09 Nov 2012
- 11:55PM
Obama understands an atomic Iran will spawn a nuclear arms race in the Middle East that would be disastrous for the future of mankind! If that were to occur, the chances of atomics ending up in terrorist hands would be 100%. The world would then be facing the prospects of a Middle East nuclear war and nuclear blackmail by terrorists that could bring counties to their knees. This nightmare scenario cannot be allowed to occur. Since the Mullahs believe Allah's guiding their drive to a global Caliphate, negotiations to stop Iran will be fruitless. The Plan, therefore, will be a massive attack of Iran by the US while Israel deals with Hamas, Hezbollah and Assad! After it's all said and done, the Palistinians will fall in line and deal. It is written!

Abbas & Obama
- By Kahtleen Kelly
- 10 Nov 2012
- 02:23AM
My thought for what is worth:SO LONG AS Abbas continuous asking for " A right of return"& the HIS joining at the hip to Hamas theres no chance this side of heaven or hell will there be a palestinian State. You say: Since the Mullahs believe Allah's guiding their drive to a global Caliphate, negotiations to stop Iran will be fruitless. The Plan, therefore, will be a massive attack of Iran by the US while Israel deals with Hamas, Hezbollah and Assad! After it's all said and done, the Palistinians will fall in line and deal. It is written! Yes ultimately there will be an attack against Iran through its mullahs with their ultra Islamism PLUS their spearing its jihadism through its proxies is what makes t very dangerous=,not only for Israel ,but the WHOLE ME.. Actually I blame BHO for the stance he took after his Cairo speech endiing in a didaster. And why do they still call themselves PLO? i.e The liberation of a country they had no connection at all. They arrived in the holy land from as far as Bosnia & other diverce surrounding countries after the early Jewish pioneers came in the 1800 to work the almost barren land. IMHO i don't think there will ever be a viable Palestinan state .(sorry)

israel was the first to start the Nuke race in the M.East
- By Tony Silver - Kopenhage
- 10 Nov 2012
- 04:59PM
Israel introduced nuclear weapons to the Middle East in 1956. Israel is no position to lecture Iran or the rest of the world about nuclear proliferation. Indeed, If Israel, which occupies neighbors' land in violation of international law, can have nukes, why can't Iran? Israel introduced the law of the jungle, let us have the rule of the jungle. Period.
