On 6 March Swedish TV carried the news: "FN-kritik mot barnfångar i Israel" -- The U.N. Blames Israel for Detaining and Mal-Treating 7,000 Palestinian Children in the last Decade. Finnish TV had a similar title: "YK moittii Israelia lasten kohtelusta". The UNICEF Report said that this amounts to SYSTEMATIC and INSTITUTIONAL CRIME. "In no other country are children detained and judged by Military Courts, which do not guarantee their rights". "Mal-Treating Palestinian Children starts from their Detention and goes on in their Interrogation and Judgement", read the Story on Finland's Public Service TV. But in America -- and in Israel -- this report did not even reach the back pages.
