Although Shai Nitzan is expected to be named the next state prosecutor after a cabinet vote on Sunday, some politicians can't allow themselves to rile against their constituency.
On Wednesday, after it became clear that the attorney general’s deputy, Shai Nitzan, was almost certainly going to be chosen as Israel’s next state prosecutor, a member of the Likud’s Central Committee − let’s call her A. − called a leading party member, whom we will call G., and who serves as interior minister in the current government.
