If you suffer so much in Israel, why don't you emigrate and spew your hate from, say Gaza, Damacus or Teheran? We are sick and tired of your stupid nonsense. Get lost, nobody will be sorry if you leave the country (except maybe Amira Hass, and we all know what her name means in German, don't we?).

yes, this is tragic. But equally tragic was the attack by five Arab armies on Israel in 1948. The results of war, intentional and unintentional, cannot be undone. History is filled with examples. In this case, once the war began, the Palestinians were driven out or fled as refugees, but for the Jews survival was at stake. Both sides need to come clean and confess their guilt and acknowledge the legitimate grievances and the humanity of the other. . We need a truth and reconciliation commission.

  we need a commission to find out how Amir Hass and Gideon Levy are allowed to slander the country again and again. They should try and write against the state in, say, Egypt or Iraq. They are misusing Israeli democracy to incite against the very state that gicves them freedom of the press. What what to expect from a paper that defends a criminal who uses stolen classified documents and then lies and lies. A criminal Haaretz paid living expenses in the well known cheap city of London for 6 months. No wonder Haaretz is on the verge of bankrupcy. Good riddance. And I am not right in my political views!!

  isr-jordan agreement and the result it had on the war!read what isr did to Pals in the 50's- more kicking out of their homes! there is a myth about poor isr in '48- your historians know the truth for a long time now- all based on your archives!! read also how Arabs wanted to diplomatically cope with the situation!all in that book and some others... On 1967- read also the 2005 CIA docs about how isr so wanted the war and Arabs didn't- even the US knew that then!!
