History professor Yehuda Bauer: 'Netanyahu doesn't know history'

The difference between Bauer and Netanyahu is that Bauer thinks he knows history and Netanyahu makes history.

It seems like the media and professorial types in Israel are as bent on destroying Israel, as they are in the U.S.

Many points of view are very valid, especially about the criticisms which endanger the Jewish State and its intentions of staying moral, relevant to contributing to the rest of the world, and coexisting in peace in the region. However, I think that there more elements of consistencies which unite the Jewish people rather than arguing viewpoints with one another. Democracies permit diverse dialogue and freedoms but actions which defeat one's essence of being, such as continual occupation of another, does not make us look good, as Bauer contends, to ourselves and the rest of the world. That's the reason the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is resolvable. Thank you Prof. Bauer for your thoughtful analysis of the past and for the future.
