The empty debate on Zionism in Britain

Backed by the imperial United States. The United States, like all empires, divides & conquers. They've succeeded in Korea, they are trying to succeed in Israel by dividing the land and giving half of it to the PLO. Those that oppose this horrible injustice will be on the right side of history.

800m000 Jews fled or left of their own volition Arab and Moslem countries. For those that came to Israel, Zionism has solved their problem. And don't say that Jews and Moslems lived peacefully together. They didn't. Want examples? Jusrt ask.

Remember all the '60's radical New Left in the US (SDS, the Chicago 7, the NY intellectual left, etc.)? They were mostly Jewish. They knifed the US in the back during the Vietnam War. And when the communists won, they celebrated (too bad about the 2 million Cambodians who were murdered when their side, the communist side won the war). Now, it si the Jewish state that is branded by the UN as racists and warmongers. Just look at the record: Q- How many wars has Germany had since WW 2? A- Zero Q- How many wars has Israel had since it was founded in 1948? A- Too many to count. The net impact has been to muzzle the once critical Jewish left making them eerily silent. And for that reason Zionism has solved "the Jewish problem."

A very well thought out article. But I would say that; because I agree with its contents. Yachad has grown amazingly rapidly, appealing as it does to many younger Jews as well as many older ones like myself. i'm not entirely sure what 'Leftist' means. To some Zionists, it seems to imply anti Zionist, anti Semitic, anti Israel; strange when one considers that early Zionism had as much to do with Socialism as it it did with Judaism (perhaps even more). What frustrated me as a Zionist who believed passionately in Israel, who loved Israel, who used to live in Israel was the lack of a voice for those of us who supported Israel, but were deeply concerned that some of the policies of the government of Israel, was damaging the country (more than a country) that we all loved so much. Yachad is such a voice.
