Nearly every pundit in Israel was in agreement this week that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on course to win the next election, whose early timing he announced Tuesday. They are almost certainly right, and I would like to take the predictions one step further and say that he will probably also win the next election, set for 2017.
