Months Late, State Begins to Reimburse New Immigrants for Last Year's Tuition

The Immigrant Absorption Ministry began transferring thousands of shekels in tuition assistance to new-immigrant university students last week, following a two-month delay and pressure from the Jewish Agency. But several students in Tel Aviv and Haifa told Anglo File that they were still waiting for the funds as of Thursday.
