Betar Jerusalem yesterday signed Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Amir Turjeman on a one-year contract with an option for another year. Betar is expected to complete the transfer of Maccabi Petah Tikva midfielder Idan Malichi today. Betar chairman Meir Fenigel will meet with Petah Tikva's Avi Luzon to finalize the deal. Meanwhile, the club is looking for another striker to play alongside Turjeman after Polish center forward Andje Kubika yesterday filed a $127,000 claim to the Israel Football Association's arbitration court.
