Ram, Erlich Reach Doubles Final

Israel's top doubles partnership, Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich, reached the final of the ABN Amro tennis tournament in Rotterdam yesterday. In a solid performance, the Israeli duo disposed of their opponents, Arnaud Clement (France) and Tommy Robredo (Spain) in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4. "We found it difficult to hold our service. As a result, we had our work cut out for us," Andy Ram said after the game. Both players look forward to the final. "We really enjoyed playing on center court; the crowd was fantastic." Ram and Erlich will play the winners of the second semifinal between Hanley/Stepanek (Australia/Czech Republic) and Damm/Suk (Czech Republic, 2). The final will be played after today's singles final.
