Swedish reporter in Israel: Not all criticism of you is anti-Semitism

No mention by Gideon Levy that Dror Feiler who accompanied the important journalist is an anti-Israeli who worshiped the suicide bomber who murdered about 20 people, among them entire families, at the Maxim restaurant in Haifa, in his so called "art work" in Sweden several years ago.

I wrongly assumed that not even Haaretz could be sympathetic to a journalist with such unprofessional standards. Inviting him to speak in Israel is just giving credibility to someone who has proved he doesn't deserve it. Millions of people believe in the tooth fairy, Father Christmas and international Jewish conspiracies, but that doesn't make any of these true.

After all, the IDF carries out near nightly "raids" into the West Bank and often does just exactly what Borston claims. And what of Yehuda Hiss and the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Medicine? What of "organ brokers" that only recently have been outlawed In Israel yet who apparently still operate? What makes Borston's article "troubling" is those aspects of truth that have not yet been fully investigated. As they say, if there's nothing to hide then what's the problem with looking into the allegations? After all, those allegations at the forensic institute proved out.

I would consider him a really lousy reporter. Whe you write an article, you are the one who is supposed to investigate. Tat is good journalism. Anyone can write scandalous material without facts, based on rumors. The oldest may be the question "Hve you stopped beating yor wife" Whatever the person answers could be the basis for a truly scandalous story based on nothing.

If Israelis believe that anti-zionism is equivalent to anti-semitism, this is their problem, they are free to think whatever they want but they cannot set a universal definition of anti-semitism just by themselves. Obviously the zionism, or the modern interpretation of zionism causes now the continuing occupation of the west bank and therefore a huge human suffering on the palestinian side, zionism also dictates the law of return applied only to jews and if one is against zionism because of these, it has nothing to do with anti-semitism but as I say, I would not care at all if israelis would call this anti-semitism. Also, as I said, Israelis are not to set the universal definition of anti-semitism, there are social scientists everywhere in the world who are more qualified to make such judgements than an israeli on the street.

So what if not all criticism of Israel isn't anti-semitism. All his writings are anti-semitic and he is a Jihadi racist.

It is technically impossible to take organs out of people at any morgue (Abu Kabir included) and transplant them. These organs would not work. By this time Mr. Bostrom should have known this, after he got all this heat about the paper. His ignorance is absolutely astonishing. Instead of giving him the stage, I urge Haaretz to ask a transplant surgeon, from Israel or abroad, to clarify what is technically or medically possible and what is not. Maybe I missed that piece?

As an organ donor coordinator, let me stress this to the genius who wrote that he still suspects dead pals were used. It is IMPOSSIBLE to harvest organs from dead bodies. Let me repeat myself: organs cannot be taken from people who are shot dead. Why is not a single Israeli physician or journalist demanding to know why this basic fact is overlooked by this so called journalist? When a person dies in a medical situation their organz may be harvest IF they meet strike critieria and remain on constant oxygen. The only thing that may be retrieved from a dead pal on the stree tis his or her corneas and that must be within 6 hours and a long list of medical rule out ascertained--which can ONLY be ascertained from family members who can answer questions about behavior such as homosexual activity, homemade tattoes, drug use, and a laundry list of ailments, the least of which is malaria--a common disease in the middle east. So the entire premise is absolutely irrefutably off balance.

This journalist talks about International law and Sweden and where is his article on the kidnapped solider Gilad?. Who did that - his pals the Pals? How would he behave is a journalist friend was kidnapped the same way?. How should friends of Gilad behave after that?. Gilad should have been released long ago by the Pals. This Swedish reporter is acting as an anti-semite simply by joining in the attack on Israel. Legitimate criticism is just a cowardly cover. Go spend your career tracking another people that have a less bloodied past.

I appreciate his coming to Israel to try to explain his thoughts, but it becomes clear in this interview with phrases like 'the IDF liquidates so many Palestinians' that he is so doctrinaire that to expect something like objective journalism from him about Israel is out of the question. He acknowledges that the article could have been written better, but not that the premise of the article was flawed or that his spurious connection between the IDF and the New Jersey organ smuggling ring is problematic. Lastly, I would have liked to have seen Bostrom's comments before an audience in Algeria addressed by Levy as well, but based on the interview it seems pretty clear what his answer would be.

"If I were writing it again, I would stress that the IDF liquidates so many youths without a trial ..." It's comforting to know that Bostrom is not directly accusing Israelis of steeling Palestinian organs, just roaming throught their streets and "liquidating" their children.
