Saudi royal offers $900,000 reward for capture of Israeli soldiers
Khaled's offer comes days after the prominent Saudi cleric, Awad al-Qarni, put $100,000 on the head of every Israeli soldier.
By DPA Tags: IDF Palestinians Hamas Gilad ShalitRIYADH - A Saudi royal offered a $900,000 reward to anyone who captures an Israeli soldier, on Saturday. Prince Khaled bin Talal, the brother of business tycoon and Fox News co-owner Walid bin Talal, told the Saudi-based broadcaster Al Daleel that the captive would then be released in exchange for Arabs held in Israeli prisons.

Al-Qarni's statement - posted on Facebook - was severely criticized, and messages posted online even warned of death threats.
Khaled told the broadcaster: "My offer also comes in response to the threats made against Sheikh al-Qarni."
The Saudi offers follows the recent deal between the Israeli government and Hamas, when Israel agreed to release 1,027 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Gilad Shalit.

So Nothingyahu appeases terrorists by trading thousands of murderous Muslims for one Israeli. Is it any surprise that more Israelis will be kidnapped and more terrorism will ensue because of his weakness? That is what appeasement does.
I'm offering one $ for each dead Saudi prince.
Let's see what the FB policy is on this issue. To me he needs to be banned, amongst other things. What think you?
The United States should demand a retraction from the Saudi government. But Obama and the American Jews that support him, might kick in an extra $100,000 just to make it a full million, instead.
This is great... We should round up all of our worst prisoners in Israeli Jails, put them in IDF uniforms, transfer them to saudi, snatch the reward, and if we do our math right, this could balance our deficit.
Israel should offer $200,000 for his head.
If those "royals" offering money to capture or kill Israeli soldiers aren't tried and punished for these cash offers, then they can be considered as representing the Saudi government and those offers are then a declaration of war by Saudi Arabia against Israel. Israel could sure make goo use of those Saudi oil fields. Good Luck, Israel, ridding the world of the number one sponsor and trainer of Islamic terrorism.
Wonder if Israel's Samson Option list just expanded? Israel is going to be attacked at some point in the near future, the Arab spring isn't a coincidence and Assad's threat of hitting Israel with everything they have if they are attacked by the West like Gaddafi's regime was. Israel is going to nuke someone in the case of WMD attacks I don't doubt it.
what is surprising me , reading all the messages, is the loss of all sens of the basic moral of those who do not condemn, otherwise approve, the offer of the prince. In fact, I have the feeling of an hided hate forward Israël. As an hamas politician said (approximatively reported) Why you jews have put a such big value in life? You said Human being?
Look how many thumbs down you received. Who need anti-Semitic sites if we have Haaretz's talkback?
Why do the US and UK love the undemocratic, sexist, xenophobic Saudis and hate the undemocratics, sexits, xenophobic North Koreans? Oil and defense contracts.... NATURALLY !!!
I don't see the conflict between Israel and "Palestine" as anything else, but a creation by Muslim leaders for Muslim populations.
Khalid bin talal is a brother of alwaleed bin talal. and every saudi knows him as unstable man. he have no role at all and always making very stupid comments..saudi government always trying to avoid problems everywhere..thanx
from the same country that delivered September 11 attack. This royal oil prince should be placed at the top of all terrorist lists.
Should'nt this type of thing be against international law? Should'nt the UN condem Saudi Arabia for this action?
How about that - make SA spend the money in a useful way? Instead of funding terror, they should invest in the Palestinian infrastructure to improve their living conditions. With the oil states' money they could build a paradise on earth. But they prefer to let the Palestinians rot in their refugee camps and have the west pay for the infrastructure. That it is understandable - it's way cooler to pay for terrorist activities than for the garbage collection...
Militant Islam will remain a frustrated and failed demonic attempt to subdue the life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness of others. These dumb Saudi "royals" have seared their consciences with wanton Wahhabism and will utter the dumbest of things to stay in the news.
I suggest they stay home, until the United States sorts it out and gets the Saudis to retract, what is frankly a very attractive offer for Palestinians, Egyptians etc on a $1 a day
Saudi babrbarism shouu;d be checked.
The whole middle east should be Israel, think about it. It is the best choice and will end all violence.
Did they just find out that the plot to assassinate one of theirs in the US was not Iran's doing?
Israel started the price tag war! don't start something that you are afraid of!
here goes another great brain talking ! i am folded in half with laughter!
Why? Because this happened as a result of a settler awarding anyone who will murder-unjustly- which is an international crime, the palestinian prisoners that were recently freed. So pretty much Israel is turning itself in...
Put a price tag on a Jew and get an Israeli missile up your ass for your efforts. That's the exchange rate.
Kidnapping for hire is a crime punishable by life in prison. There also maybe statutes of the Geneva Convention which outlaw these actions. The Israeli govt should not be complacent in filing a complaint with international authorities over this matter
The Geneva Convention does not allow the transfer of a civilian population to land captured in war, and that is an exact description of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank...
how many articles of this convention have you violated until now? and now you want to stick to the convention for your own benefit. no surprise...
Until then quit whinging that people refuse to abide by the same rules that Israel itself refuses to abide by.
and it doesn't abide because it's enemies don't abide, then what right do they have to complain? So by telling Israel to stop "whining" we must also tell the Palestinians and company to stop whining.
The Geneva Convention doesn't prohibit it, either. The Convention isn't a list of things that are allowed, it's a list of things that AREN'T allowed.
I will ask all my friends to pee on a Koran each time Saudis pay out for an this deal.
...and the Saudis will end it
Just today Abbas admitted that the Arabs started all this and did so stupidly without justification.
This was our fear. We have made a historic mistake by rewarding hostage takers. Israel must put Khlaled on the terrorist list and instruct Mossad to capture.
The answer is... YES! Too much to ask! Thanks for your concern. Now come & live with us in the south of Israel for a week.
Israel needs to take this tio the Un and file a complaint. If and when it happens then the address for reprisal will be clear. Saudis are just as vulnerable in the world as are Israelis
It's the victim's fault when they're at a cafe eating lunch and someone walks in with a bomb strapped to him and blows himself up among them? You have a warped sense of responsibility.
If there is ONE thing that we cannot do is blame the Shalit family for anything! That is misguided anger & irresponsible! The public voted for their deal in many ways & the public has to live with the consequences. I'm not a supporter of the deal, HOWEVER, as a father I would have done exactly the same - I would fight for my child's life in any way possible. Noam Shalit did his best to get his son back & he won. Well done to him. Now we need to look at what we created for ourselves & find a way to live with that. Period.
and wish to show you the way to live with that: Make Peace with the Palestinians and give them back their occupied land.
It will be interesting to hear what the united nations & America has to say about terrorism in the Saudi royal household. Probable nothing as usual.
Why should America have anything to say about this at all?? It's not our problem. We're on the other side of the planet, and the Middle East is nothing but a giant, unnecessary pain our a*s. Most of us (Americans) are totally fed up with the entire region and its endlessly quarreling tribes.
I offer a 1 million USD reward for a capture of a saudi royal family member
May their good people have the courage and wisdom to end them.
thank you for your hate filth
May their good people have the courage and wisdom to end them.
I would guess that putting a price on the head of every Israeli soldier might be attractive to your average Joe Ahmed. On the other hand wouldn't it be just as effective to hire mercenaries and put a price on the head of every member of the Saudi Royal family?? Why screw around with $900,00. How about $10 million. When a couple of them drop like flies and claim their prize the offer will end. On the other hand it would be even better to tie that offer directly to Iran.
occupy mecca is that what u wanna try n achieve?i say to u yehud, try but i say u will fail miserably cause ALLAH THE creator of u n me n all mankind is its protector(ameen).
In the future someone is going to drop a nuke on Mecca when you idiots are dancing around it. Everyone and the silly meteor is going to be vaporized and then all the Muslims left standing will realize that their is nothing Specil about Mecca or Islam.... You cult will quickly fall.
They are not worth $100,000 each. So far, I have raised $1.37!!!!
To high a price.
The normal reaction is to criticize the Saudi prince. Not to engage in the SAME ACTS that you are criticizing the Saudis for. Seriously, this is way Israeli society has gone to shit, you have lost your human values.
That is right. The Saudis need their money for high-end liquor, high-end prostitutes, taking care of their multiple wives, and trips to London and Paris.
AMEN, they also fund extremist Wahabi groups in Egypt and want to turn our moderate nation into a theocracy.
Israelies Did . Group of israelies announced price tage for killers for hier to assassinate Palestinians Relased in the Prisoners of war swap between israel and Hamas , its only appropriate for the saudies to call israel pluff and raise the prize money to cool one million dollars for every captured israeli soldier ...hmm maybe in the next incident not aim to kill israeli soldiers they could be worth more living than dead. God bless saudia arabia for puitting more value to israeli soldiers life than jews do . just a thought
There was no 'other people's land in any legal context. There was no country of Palestine or Palestinians. There were merely fragmented Arab communities living in Palestine under British Mandate as there were Jewish communities pre 1948. The 'palestinians' left to wait for 1948 Israel to be ethnically cleansed of Jews before returning. They are still waiting for this and their numbers have increased 10 fold..Get your facts right before you talk about 'other people's land' please.
by the American politicians and American press be if someone from Iran did this ? why was this not reported on at all today? what a joke, the Saudi regime is the biggest cancer in the middle east.
someone, anyone, should pulverise the camel herders once and for all.
my occupier friend
She's there with Germans approval. How about you? Did you have native permission when squatting on their land for 28 years, globe trotter?
But when they start leaning forward like this it probably means they sense something positive on their horizon. Hopefully not too much high level traffic between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia right now.
That kind of money is far too much. I think people would still capture soldiers for say, 20 or 50,000 dollars.
Saudi royals belong in tents in the dessert sodomizing each other like they were when oil was found on their land.
Is this what happens when Israel ignores comprehensive regional peace offers?
A more rational person might ask what value such a "peace initiative" has when the leaders of the country that offered it have made their true intentions so obvious.
How much for killing one?
...the object is to get more Palestinians released, and a dead body wouldn't have as high as value as a living soldier...
could be gotten for marikx? probably nothing.
Daddy US will talk to it's ally, and get the SA royalty to back off. Of course, the US supports the SA royalty that supports Wahhabi, the sect that attacked the US, so maybe the US umbrella won't protect Israel this time.
...conveniently forgetting all the UN sanctions it ignores....
So the problem is the US. Presumably the writer sees nothing wrong in offering money to kidnap or kill other human beings. And this is how they want the rest of the world to behave.
the saudis are just as twisted as anyone, and the history of how that country came into being would shock almost any american, and embarrass almost any englishman
Please tell us how it came about.
If we hadn't showed them how to get that oil out of the ground, it would still be down there...
The old wells are filling up slowly again
