Actor Bob Hoskins will be a guest at the British Film Festival, which runs from January 19-28 at the Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Nazareth cinematheques. The festival will feature 40 recent British movies.

Hoskins, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in "Mona Lisa," will be bringing "Mrs. Henderson Presents," in which he and Dame Judi Dench star.

Dench plays a widow in London in the 1930s who puts on a play with an all-nude cast.

The movie, as well as both Dench and Hoskins, were nominated for Golden Globe Awards, whose ceremony is set for January 16. Deborah Moggach, screenwriter of the latest movie version of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice," which was directed by Joe Wright and stars Keira Knightley (of "Pirates of the Caribbean"), will join Hoskins at the festival.
