All of Benjamin Netanyahu's meetings were cancelled last Friday after the driver of one of the prime minister's close associates tested positive for swine flu, Haaretz learned on Saturday.

This was apparently to verify that the prime minister had not been infected.

The canceled meetings included a discussion with opposition leader Tzipi Livni (Kadima) to address the opposition MKs' boycott of Knesset sessions.

The meetings were cancelled after Netanyahu's office was informed that the driver of the wife of his military secretary, Major General Meir Kalifi, had come down with swine flu.
