As an Israeli basher, who has no say or stake in Israel, I can tell you that the psycho-LEFT has destroyed Israel. Much like a battered and abused wife, the Left paints Israel as the abuser instead of the victim. Like Israel has it coming to her. Instead, the vulgarity and destruction on the Palestinian side must be addressed. Yet, in the sick leftist mindset, Israel has a DUTY to employ, feed, take care of an enemy that plots destruction every minute of the day. No, Mikey, it is the psycho-Left.

There will be an order to vacate the West Bank and when Israel ignores that there will be sanctions and boycotts. It's all avoidable if Israel retains a sense of moderation and sanity, but if it throws itself headfirst down the racism and fascism route, it's screwed.

Where is the Palestinian sense of moderation and sanity ??? They have never exhibited one ounce of sanity. They have never prepared the Arab Street for any reconciliation. Did you know that the majority of terror attacks in the '90s against Israel occurred on Fridays, where the Imams riled up the masses, and then the words turned into terror action. Do not lay this on the doorstep of Israel, not after the Arabs initiated Four Wars and have never demonstrated any intent to repent and accept Peaceful co-existence. This is NOT a one-way street. Your view of racism and fascism are fancy words thrown around. We prefer to categorize it as defense and justice, against an Arab entity, cloaked in terror, who just cannot come to terms with Israel. They just refuse to acknowledge reconciliation, in spite of their fancy words and suits. Israel will do all to defend herself, in spite of your objections. But a New Jersey homemaker saw something that morning that prompted an investigation into five young Israelis and their possible connection to Israeli intelligence. Maria, who asked us not to use her last name, had a view of the World Trade Center from her New Jersey apartment building. She remembers a neighbor calling her shortly after the first plane hit the towers. She grabbed her binoculars and watched the destruction unfolding in lower Manhattan. Not in US are they fiscally conservative. Not one willing to cut their own parents benefits or cut defense. The US is armed for war with the USSR. But not a single tea party politician is willing to cut and eliminate the F-35 or cut off the Abrams or reduce our Navy by 50%. Every single time without exception, I hear some person extolling the virtues of the free market, it is an espousal of the idea that ‘Greed is good’. Well look where that idea has gotten the USA and others. Generationaly mortgaged to the hilt, they have sold not only themselves but their children and their children's children. you claim (i think) that capitalism is bad, and somehow connect it to the idea that greed is good. greed is a human state, much like fear, happiness, lust, shame, etc. its not good or bad. we were born that way. capitalism, on the other hand is an economic system which tries to allocate scarce resources to the citizens, residenets, whomever, of a particular area. alternatives seem to center around some sort of idea of centralized planning. as a system of allocating resources, it is superior to state contol in that individuals are able to do what they wish, an element of freedom missing in state controled economies. lastly, where has capitalism gotten us (US)? one if the highest living standards on the planet, innovative markets, freedom.

One of the main drivers behind the current economic crisis was not free market policies, but rather the exact opposite, namely absurd government regulations promoted by leftisit Democratic congressmen that actually forced the lenders you condemn to make loans to people who could not afford to pay them back. Eventually the housing bubble burst, which helped trigger the financial crash, which then crashed on Main Street. This part of the crisis is never discussed in the socialistic leaning press.

2012 is still a long way off. People wrote off Clinton in 94, too. Obama's job is not part of the midterms. And if the Republicans stop the government, it could be interesting. What happens when there is no DOD money to pay the soldiers in Afghanistan or those left in Iraq? What happens when Social Security payments are paid? And doctors go begging for lack of medicare payments? DeMint threatens all that.

Obama's job is ALL about the mid-terms. Come next Wednesday, he will be a castrated Pres. The Republicans are not stopping the Govt, they're taking back the Govt.
