A Russian television channel's Middle East bureau chief tweeted on Monday that Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman protested over the station's broadcasts at his meeting with Vladimir Putin last month.

First, in most democracies a free press should exist free of political pressures and Mr. Lieberman thinks that it shouldn’t, it’s my conclusion after reading the comment about his words with Putin. What he is implying is that Putin has the dictatorial powers to tell the press to shut up. This tells you that Lieberman doesn’t understand what democracy is.
