this was probably an attempt to make the villagers shoot back and then claim that they started the assault and use it as a pretext for an attack in this area of the West Bank. using an entire village - against its will - as a training ground without telling them? what if the villagers would have fought back? they are not required by any international law to look on when their occupying power assaults their village. they had every right to defend themselves. those soldiers are only lucky that the palestinians in that village are not such morons as the IDF commanders. why doesnt the IDF use Haifa or Tel Aviv as a training ground - i am sure the Israeli population would be more than willing to play the occupied people ....
