Egyptian police seize 110 more Gaza-bound missiles
Egyptian police discovered 110 sophisticated missiles yesterday in the Sinai Peninsula, just a day after seizing more than 200. All the weapons are believed to be destined for militant groups in the Gaza Strip. Another arms cache, discovered near the Egypt-Gaza border, contained 100 kilograms of explosives.
In all, five weapons caches were discovered. The Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported that the missiles were found in a depot in central Sinai, along with around 50 shells for use in anti-aircraft weapons.
Egyptian forces detained three individuals near the Gaza border on suspicion of weapons smuggling, Ma'an reported.
