U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during her talks in Israel this week not to take any extreme actions in response to the Palestinian move in the United Nations for recognition as a non-member state. Clinton said such steps against the Palestinian Authority could bring about its collapse. The Palestinians are planning to ask the United Nations General Assembly to...

Israel is in violation of most of them anyway. The palestinian's were to be granted a state by now. There wasn't to be any land thieft by Israel. But they have stolen property and contenue to steal property. How do you desolve something that you have already broken? (It is already desolved.) When is the American government going to break some accords of their own and STOP supporting this dog and poney show that Israel calls a government? I am rather tired of America being an act in that three-ringed circus of the three STOOGES! MOE, LARRY and CURLEY! Pull down the tent and send the clowns packing.

No one follows him anymore fore sure not Hamas. Also the UN is a big joke The US and Israel and every other nation that has any values should leave it. It is run by corrupt violent nations, enough is enough It is also interesting how there was such backlash from Bibi supposedly interfering in US elections yet the US tells us what to do without blinking an eye.

Oslo granted the PA civil authority in exchange for direct negotiations. The minute they refuse to continue direct negotiations they lose that authority. They can't get something for nothing. One must be very ignorant to believe that the Gazaans are allowed to run their own area. You think rockets just come out of the blue? 08 0 0Obma’s first term was not wasted after all
- By Rammer
- 23 Nov 2012
- 02:44AM
What we are seeing now is the culmination of three years of US self searching and secret diplomacy. The first signs of change in US attitude came in March when the White House forced Israel to give up four proposed bills which would have annexed the West Bank in all but name, but I did not expect the first ground-breaking unfolding of the new policy to occur in Gaza. The most significant result of the Gaza truce is that Gaza will acquire real independence. So that made me wonder how the PLO, with its mandate as the only representative of the Palestinians, will fit into Gaza’s putative role as the first independent Palestinian state. It is therefore reassuring that Morsi is going to employ his not inconsiderable prestige to reconcile Fatah and Hamas, and Cliton’s has just shown her concern for the good health of the PA while at the same time sending a broad hint that Palestinian statehood is not such an awful thing, after all. I don’t know why all of a sudden I am beginning to like this lady.

Damage Control
- By Jesse
- 23 Nov 2012
- 07:53AM
Obama's policies in the Middle East reflect a desire to let events determine their own course. He does not wish to interfere unless events clearly threaten US interests. He may prevent Israel from taking certain actions, but not necessarily because he is supportive of the PA or Palestinians. He is simply interested in keeping the region from spiraling out of control to the point where it hurts the US. I would not expect him to proactively support a Palestinian state. The only way he would allow an independent Palestinian state to come into being was if he perceived the alternative would lead to instability and hence be worse for the US.

As long as we are giving you billions in aid every year, continue to be your apologists in the UN no matter the number of warcimes/terrorist acts you commit, and give you weapons, it seems as if Israel needs to learn THIER place. If they don't like us setting terms, then give us back all of our weapons. aircraft, and defense systems. Also give us back every single red cent that was sent your way, WITH interest. We'll withdraw all American personnel from Israel, and drop the decades long policy of Israel apologism in the UN. Until all that is done, you have to know your role.
