A general strike expected to begin tomorrow could affect more than 40,000 passengers who are set to pass through Ben-Gurion International Airport.
Tomorow, Wednesday, the day after the Tisha B'Av fast, will be one of the busiest days of the season as the religious public joins the rest of Israelis in overseas summer travel.
In preparation, some airlines, including Arkia and El Al, announced yesterday that international flights would be rescheduled to depart prior to the start of the strike, which is planned to begin at 8 A.M.
