NY Jews come to support front-line communities
Israir Airlines is scheduled to bring a group of 20 Jews from New York this morning to boost the morale the residents of frontline communities . The airline said yesterday that the group asked to come to Israel now to express solidarity with residents both in the north and south. The guests will stay five days in Israel and start by visiting Nahariya, Carmiel, Tiberias and Safed, distributing meals, toys and games to children in shelters. Then it will visit communities near the Gaza Strip border, including Sderot and Nitzanim.
