NaanDan expands in Latin America
By Amiram CohenNaanDan Irrigation Systems announced yesterday it had recently signed a deal with Citrosuco of Brazil to supply $1 million worth of drip irrigation technologies for orchards in South America's largest country. Citrosuco is one of the world's largest citrus juice producers. According to Ronen Avrutzky, general manager of the Latin American business unit at NaanDan, the company also recently signed long-term deals with major irrigation distributors in Mexico. The company has also penetrated other areas, such as planning and implementing major agricultural projects, including setting up a farm of hothouses for vegetable growing. NaanDan is the third largest drip irrigation company in the country.
